It is time 10 AM, Heat wave really makes life miserable . What to do ? We don't want to go to beach even though kids wants to goto the same. My collegue Ashok called me and told get ready we are going to a place where two rivers joint together !! wow

Straight narrow road , beautifull drive !! both side lots of vineyards, farms , cliff roads and silent valleys , small ponds and creeks.
We reached Harpers ferry national park arround 2 PM. We have to pay 6$ for entrance fee.
After lunch we go in to the shuttle bus and that take us near to the river.
Here the story begins.
We saw heritage of a splendid past. There are volunteers who dressed up like 18 century railway staff , replica of old market and what not. ...
Kids and Parents were rushing to the river and swimming and dancing. We can see Shenandoah river in one side and Potamac river on the other side. We also hike up to the Jefferson Rock and enjoy the water gap.
We walked all the way up to Maryland heights and see the amazing view of Harpers Ferry.
